Most postgraduate taught courses in China, Ghana, Pakistan, Thailand, and Turkey are eligible for the University of York GREAT Scholarship. Nigerian applicants must apply for one of her postgraduate Law programs.
York University is giving five scholarships to overseas students seeking for postgraduate studies in cooperation with the British Council and GREAT Britain Campaign.
The British Council and 72 UK universities launched the GREAT Scholarship 2024 to help postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam study in the UK.
University of York GREAT Scholarship 2024 Eligibility
For the University of York GREAT Scholarship, you must:
Must be a citizen of China, Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, or Turkey Pay overseas fees by 20 May 2024 Meet any language requirements of your offer by 20 May 2024
have a conditional or unconditional offer to undertake a one-year postgraduate taught course at York by 20 May 2024 (you don’t need to accept).
A GREAT scholarship can be coupled with external financing if it doesn’t cover 100% of tuition.
Successful individuals must represent York University and the British Council as GREAT ambassadors.
